GCCF Annual Returns — Let Us Handle the Paperwork
We prepare your GCCF balance sheet and annual return before the April deadline — so your treasurer does not have to struggle through it alone.
Handled by Ross Davies — Full GCCF Judge, show manager, and BAC member. Available January to April.
The Problem Every Club Faces Every April
Every GCCF-registered club must submit annual returns — including a balance sheet — before the end of April. For many club treasurers, this is one of the most stressful parts of the role.
Most cat club treasurers are volunteers. They took on the role because they love their breed, not because they enjoy accountancy. The GCCF balance sheet format has specific requirements, and getting it wrong means going back and forth with the GCCF office under time pressure.
Ross has been part of the GCCF as a judge, BAC member, and JPG member for many years. He understands exactly what the returns require and how to prepare them correctly first time.
“Send me your club’s income and expenditure figures and I will prepare the balance sheet and return form for you. You just need to check the figures and submit. It is that straightforward.”

Get in touch and send us your club’s income and expenditure records for the year. A spreadsheet or a simple list of figures is all we need — there is no complicated format to follow.
2
We Prepare Everything
Ross prepares the correctly formatted balance sheet and return form. We send it back to you to review — usually within 48 hours of receiving your figures.
3
You Check and Submit
You confirm the figures are correct and submit to the GCCF before the April deadline. The whole process is straightforward — no back and forth, no technical knowledge required.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is the GCCF annual return deadline?
The deadline is the end of April each year. We recommend getting in touch as early in the year as possible — ideally January or February — to allow time to review and correct any queries before the deadline.
What information do we need to send you?
A list of your club’s income and expenditure for the year is all we need — show entries, subscriptions, bank interest, show expenses, printing costs, and so on. A spreadsheet is ideal, but even a simple email with the figures works fine.
Do you need to be our accountant to do this?
No. This is a document preparation and formatting service, not a formal accountancy service. We take your figures and prepare them in the format the GCCF requires. Your committee remains responsible for the accuracy of the underlying figures.
We are not a Cats Whiskers Web Designs client — can we still use this service?
Yes — the returns service is open to all GCCF-registered clubs, not just our website clients. Club website clients receive a discounted rate, but any GCCF club is welcome to use the service.
Is this service available all year round?
The service runs January to April to align with the GCCF submission window. Get in touch as early as possible to secure your slot — capacity is limited and April fills up quickly.
